Here’s 5 reasons why this legends v’s fans spectacle is definitely something worth attending.
Players
The teams are unreal with a selection of legends and cult heroes. I didn’t think we’d get the chance to see Vitas Astafjeves, Cureton, Hayles, Ommel, Bryant, Hogg, Elliott (and many many more) back in the famous blue and white quarters.
Even the fans team includes some famous names (Wael Al Qadi and Pete Dunford), and watching other fans playing in the game of their lives will be a spectacle too
There’s also current players attending too!
Atmosphere
It’ll be family friendly day which is easily noticable in the excitement gasheads have shown talking about it. They also have face painting etc for the kids
The cause
What a cause. Not many people in Bristol haven’t had contact with St Peter’s Hospice. The team there are amazing and their work is phenomenal.
Supporting one of our own
Ashley Belsten the organiser deserves massive credit. I saw how much effort went into the Bristol Fans derbies back in the day, and there was a committee of people behind those. Ash deserves massive credit for everything he has achieved taking this event to this level, and should get masses of support
Price
Tickets are only a fiver. Possibly the best value for money of any football match in the country for decades.

It’s at Mangotsfield Football Club, on Sunday 12th of August. Entertainment starts at 12:30 and the match starts at 14:00
